In The Redcliffe Herald 15th July... The Leagues club collected 1500 signatures on a petition to build a new football stadium Redcliffe.  They want monies from the Federal & State Governments plus the $ 3,000,000 the council are going to give the club.

This a very poor effort to obtain signatures considering '' the move to Brisbane '' petition obtained 4500 signatures approx.25% of the areas population.

Also, the  '' Save Redcliffe ''petition obtained over 12400 signatures .approx. 33% of the voting public.

Both petitions signatures were collected over the same period of time.

Both these petitions were stopped by the former LNPGovernment.
